Newborn Photography

A baby fills a place in your heart that you never knew was empty.

Newborn sessions are some of my favorite sessions; I love having the baby snuggles, getting the most darling images and capturing this period of time that just flies by.  The babies safety is the most important thing to me, and a lot of my images are composites, taken in a studio environment, which keeps baby safe, healthy and happy.

Newborn sessions are typically 4 hours long. The sessions are so long because we all know that babies run on their own little clocks. We cater completely around the baby, and almost every photograph is taken with the baby in a deep, hard sleep.

After the session, each and every photo is completely edited, to help even out the baby's  skin tone, remove baby pimples, any boogers or any other non permanent skin defects in the photograph. Each image is hand edited to perfection.

I leave my Fridays open for babies, since that gives me the flexibility to know that we will be able to get baby in, no matter what other appointments I have scheduled during the week.

I am thrilled to offer a climate controlled studio in Hector, MN that allows me to set up a baby friendly studio. This also allows parents to bring other children they may have, and get updated family portraits, as well as portraits of their kiddo's for the first time.
