It’s easy to become stagnant in our lives. It’s easy to allow the comfortable and known to become the only thing we know.
But sometimes, breaking the ice can lead us to new and incredible things. Whether it is breaking the ice with a person, either romantically or a new friendship, or whether it is branching into a new genre of art, applying for that new job or moving to your dream environment.
I know that personally, if I had never taken that plunge, broke the ice and pushed myself into these new and unknown genre’s of photography, I wouldn’t still be in business.
Push yourself. Break the boundaries and walls you have put up and venture into this new, uncharted territory. Soul search, dig deep, break that ice, especially if it is scary.
It is scary, but, if your dreams don’t scare you, you aren’t dreaming big enough. If you aren’t nervous about taking the plunge, is it really a plunge? Push past this, you can do it, and if you fail who cares??
“Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.” Robert Kennedy – (Thanks Cj for this quote today, it hit me right in the motivation)
