Alright ladies.. It’s time for some real talk. How many of us don’t love our bodies? How many of us look in the mirror and think… “I’m just not good enough”.. Or “I don’t know what he sees in me.”
And now, how many of us actual give ourselves the love we deserve? How many of us give ourselves the pat on the back we deserve??
My good friend posted today talking about how she was ashamed for her body failing her, and her needed to get help during her pregnancy. Help that if she hadn’t reached out for, she would had lost her child.
Now, she was SHAMED Y’ALL FOR NOT HAVING A NATURAL BIRTH.
First off. WTF ladies. Cuz I can guarantee you, no MAN was walking around giving too shits about some other mans wife and her child birth. Shit, I bet her own husbands just happy everything was okay. But why as women, do we rip into other women? Why are we so hard on ourselves, and others?
I want to start to be the change. I want to be the change for women and grow from, learn from and become the women we NEED to be. It costs nothing to be kind to anyone, yourself included.
And if there is something that you truly hate about yourself, what do you want to do to a. learn to love yourself b. improve yourself to reach the goals you want to reach.
Tell me. What do we need to do to change? Let’s BE THE POSITIVE.
